Business Discussed:
Dave Shuster requested to set up a tour of the Quarry facilities for the university. Lylah Shelor will be coordinating this tour for the group at a later date.
Key management was addressed. Dave Shuster is in the final stages of developing a program that he will make available to the group, which will help track and manage keys.
Access control and building security was addressed by the entire group. Comments were made on how to manage access to building and secure areas within a building. Also, suggestions were made on how to manage maintenance staff and knowing when they are in the building do repairs.
Linda Law spoke about how the Institute for Advanced
Learning and Research, in
Locations for the next meeting were discussed. It was decided the next meeting would be a tour of Latham Hall facilities. Candice Albert and Dennis Gehrt will be hosting the tour of Latham. Information will be sent to the listserv about the next meeting place.
Candice Albert volunteered to start taking minutes for the meetings.
